Pneumonia.

Fredrik had to go to the ER this evening... yes, because of pneumonia (el. lunginflammation.. if I spelled that right).

His back pain became very severe and he fell over with pain after he got out of bed. It was no question about going to the hospital.. :/ We were there for about.. 5 hours. They took him in fairly quickly and assessed very easily what was wrong.

The doctor that Leia had was there! And he stopped in and asked how she was doing. :)

The nurses were nice and so was the doctor. They fixed him up easily and quickly.

They gave him something for his fever, which was 102.9ºF (39,4ºC). They gave him an IV and some antibiotics, and something for the back pain. They did 2 chest x-rays just to make sure it was pneumonia and not something with the kidneys.

He also received 3 prescriptions, which were expensive....... But our home insurance will take care of that.

He is feeling much, much better. :) He had us all very scared and worried, his pain was very, very bad. :/
The doctor said it was the beginning stage of pneumonia.
But we are glad we have him all medicated and on the way to feeling better.
And now we are anxiously awaiting our 2 bills from the hospital from Leia's visit and now Fredrik's.. :)

He's commanded to stay in bed until we leave on Thursday. :)
