Tonight we met with our parent group. Three other families came. So there were 3 other babies besides Leia. The first time in awhile that she's been with other babies, and she behaved very well. :) She didn't cry if someone grabbed a toy out of her hand, and she was very calm when we took away a toy that she grabbed from someone else. :) The excitement wore off very, very quickly. She found more interest in trying to get into other rooms. :/ :) She was out the door and in the hallway trying to find out where she can go. :)
Afterwards we chatted with another couple and I'm going to meet her and their baby, Lukas/Lucas at the Baby Café on Thursday. She is Swedish and her husband is from South America, so we have something in common all of us. They are very quiet like Fredrik and I. :)
Today at work, Fredrik met with some Dutch people that are going to be building some housing for some other Dutch people. So that is a new project that he is going to be working on.
Leia had a good day. :) She slept well. :) Strangely enough, the other people in our parent group have trouble getting their babies to sleep or sleep the whole night through. I guess we are really lucky with the little problem that we've had with Leia sleeping. Well.. from week 3-6 she didn't sleep at all, and then of course some issues during the bad teething, but other than that, she's been great with her sleeping.
I worked a little more on my Swedish work today, about Astrid Lindgren.
Not much exciting happening. :/ Trying to keep the house straightened, dishes washed, clothes clean, plants watered, and all that other stuff..
Oh and Leia now prefers to scoot on her knees instead of crawling. It isn't as fast as crawling, but I think she prefers it. It is the next best thing to walking. We have come to the conclusion that the only reason that she hasn't started walking yet is because she is so heavy.. :/
