Yesterday Leia and I went on a walk, so that Pappa could have some quiet alone time on his birthday. :) We weren't gone too long, but I know he enjoyed being home by himself for awhile. :) Today, Fredrik had Leia all to himself this morning and I stayed in bed. It is good that she gets some time to be with him.. she's stuck with me all week all day long.. :) It is good to get a break from each other. :))It was really, really windy last night. :/ And it has rained here most of the day. It gets pitch black around 19.00.
Fredrik's birthday cake ended up being super delicious. :) The only problem was that the cake stuck to the pan. We were instructed to butter and flour generously, but I have never seen anything stick so much before.. :/
We had a nice, simple day today. Leia and I watched Dark Crystal, and Fredrik cleaned the pellet burner.
Our neighbor is moving!! The one across the street from us, in the brick house. She lives there alone, but we think she moved out awhile ago, as we didn't see much of her this summer. Her daughter was there often taking care of the house, and this Fall, her neighbor has been keeping the yard mowed, etc. Since we moved in in May of last year... This is the 10th house for sale on our street.. :/ :)

Leia is walking very well. :) She goes around fine.. sometimes she tries to run, when she gets excited. :) She usually then ends up falling to her knees. She had some horrible head bumps this weekend though.. :/ Not from her walking, just weird things.. she tripped on her scarf and stuff like that, and was standing, fell straight back and hit her head really hard on the floor.. :/
She didn't wanna nap today, so I got in bed with her and we both slept about 1½ hours. It was really nice. :) She cooperated very well and fell asleep without too much trouble. When she cooperates it is a really nice experience. :)
We think there are finally more teeth showing up.. (on the bottom) which explains her behavior. :/ :) And the days that she doesn't sleep well. Tonight she got some orajel and baby tylenol.
She loves her teeth brushing. :) She is really, really good. She loves the taste and keeps her mouth open very well. She sits on pappa's lap and mamma does the brushing.
Fredrik finally found a cell phone number for the fireplace person. He said that he couldn't start for another month, so to call back then. So we think we are going to have him come and look everything over. We are going to have to wait in line no matter who we go with.. so we might as well just pick someone then so that we can get the whole process started. So we'll have him come out (when he can) and have him look everything over and find out how much he will charge.
In Sweden it is.. custom to take a cake or whatnot to school or work when it is your birthday. I offered to make something for Fredrik to take for work, a bunch of cookies even, but he wouldn't let me. *sigh* He didn't want anyone to know it was his birthday......:T
