Voting.

Today is voting day in Ohio, my home State. I sent in my absentee ballot last week, so even if they don't get it by today, as long as the postmark is before today, I'll still be allowed to vote for the Presidental Election in November. It is always exciting watching the Presidental Election, even here in Sweden. The National channel has full, complete coverage, just as good as in the US. So I don't feel like I am really missing anything. :)

Is it me or does Leia remind you of the Staypuff marshmellow man from Ghostbusters?!?!

:D

Not that much else happening around here.. :P The weather was sooo beautiful today. Not cold at all and a little warm even.

I bought something from two young girls that came to the door this evening. They loved Leia of course. They were doing a fundraiser, and it was for UNICEF, so I couldn't say no. :)

That is all for now.. :P

I know I am biased...

... but she is the most adorable baby ever... :D

Yay!

I found a paper, around 16.00, in the office with a whole bunch of questions. And I hastily tried to do them or see if I could do them, realizing that I probably should have been studying that..... So I was stressed and decided to not take the test and have him explain the stuff to me instead, and take the test next week.

I get there and ask him to explain it and he was incredibly surprised I had gotten so far and said that none of that was on the test and told me that I should go ahead and take it.

So, I took it and got an MVG! Highest grade. :)
So of course I am extremely proud of myself. :))
He was impressed. :) And then we went over the stuff that I was curious about.

Fredrik dropped me off and he came home with Leia and had his first time at home alone with her! :) They had a nice evening, I'm sure. :) And he put her to bed and I got a nice walk home in the not too cold, fresh air. :)

Now a little rest. :)

I NEED this....!

A floating globe...

Yesterday's post.

So here are all the pictures that I had wanted to post yesterday! Fredrik carried pellets yesterday, and I studied for my test. And Leia did plenty of sleeping. But Leia and I took a "fieldtrip" outside to take some pictures of the new windows.

They look really nice! :) (They should with how much they cost.) :P

And Fredrik carrying pellets. Every time Fredrik would reappear around the corner of the house, Leia would smile and get very excited. :))
I tried taking some pictures of Leia while holding her, not wanting to set her down on the cold ground, and here is what I ended up with: :)

A couple of pictures of Caesar playing with his toy, too. He took it outside last Summer, and it has been outside all Winter, laying in the gravel in the yard. I threw it to him yesterday and he started playing with it like a kitten.. I think other kitties would laugh at him if they saw him... :/

This experession is priceless.. :/ :) Very curious as to what she is thinking here.. :)

Fredrik putting some leaves on the compost pile. We need to get another compost pile, as you can see, ours is a "little" full. It was full when we moved in, and we've taken some dirt from the bottom and used it, but it is very, very full anyways. And behind Fredrik, on the upper level, is our little garden. We hope to revamp it this Spring. We have lots of extra blocks from the kitchen floor, so we want to use those as walking paths in the garden. And then plant plenty of more things. :) We'll see if we get that done. :D

The tulips look good!

And some Spring flowers we've had in the yard for the last 2 months!

A cute kitty sitting on our deck. :)

Leia is doing much, much better with sitting. She doesn't tip over until she sees something she wants and she leans towards it and of course tips over. :/ :)

I love her jeans. :)) They are 6-9 month, but they fit her waste perfectly, she can still grow into them with length, though. I love the blanket. Leia received it as a gift for her baby party. And it is handmade, too.

Okay, that is enough for awhile. :)) We enjoyed our time outside yesterday. :) Leia loves to be out, and the weather was really nice.

Post.

I was going to post lots of pictures this evening, but I am just too tired to do it now. When Leia went to bed, Fredrik and I finished a (boring) movie that we had started earlier in the day, and I've been trying to study since then (as I have all day). Not sure if I've accomplished anything, but I hope to do well on my test tomorrow. It won't be until around 17.00. The account stuff I can do - any of it that concerns numbers, where the numbers should go, or any specific info about the account - I can do pretty okay, I think. It is more.. obscure words and info that I am scared of. I am extremely nervous about it though, it doesn't matter if I know the material or not. I could be having a test over myself and I'd probably still have butterflies in my tummy.

She still won't...

...take a pacifier.. :/ She will chew on it and spit it out. :) Her hair is getting much thicker, though. Which we are grateful for. :)) And it is getting lighter. Curious to see if it is going to turn blonde.

Leia's new favorite: blue berries.

March.

March already.. :/ :)

And of course it was sunny and nice all week and today it is raining.... it is always nasty on the weekends. We had 2 tons of pellets delivered on Wednesday, and Fredrik was hoping to carry them to the cellar today, but seems like that won't be happening. :/ They can't get wet, or they "explode" and look like.. insulation, big and fluffy. So, the bags are going to have to stay secured in their plastic covering until the weather is nice enough. :/

I still wanna host one of our parent group meetings. :/ Now we have them every 2 months, so there is one in March, and then there would be one in May. I wanna do the May one. :/ :) Fredrik is a little sceptical, though. It would be nice. The place we go is so very cramped. And if we are here, in May, the weather would be nice and we could be outside, too. And have some food. We have the meetings at 17.00. We feel weird even mentioning it to the.. midwife and BVC nurse, knowing that they have probably never had a meeting at someone's residence before, especially since most everyone would have an appartment. So it isn't like most anyone could host something. So it has probably never come up before. So, we feel weird mentioning it even. :/ We'll see.. :/ Doubt it will happen, but it would be nice.

Fredrik signed up for vacation. He and the other 2 measurers fixed their vacations perfectly. They all signed up for vacation, and none of the time overlaps, and they never even discussed anything. :P So, during the summer there will be 2 measurers available at all times. The boss said they all get gold stars. :)) Fredrik took the last 3 weeks of July and then the first week of August. Weeks 29-32.

Last night, I mailed a hotel in Skagen, Denmark to book 2 rooms for my parents and us. I tried the cheapest one, first. Which, isn't really cheap. :P We took one of the 3-4 hotels in the middle of town (on the main street). One with more rooms, with hopes of not having any booking troubles. And the Danish crown is a bit higher than the Swedish crown. So we lose a little with exchange. And if they are full, then we'll try one of the others. :) When Fredrik and I went, we stayed in one right on the main street, and it was lovely. We really liked it, but we wanted to try a different hotel this time. The rooms were a little small, and we'll have Leia, so, we need a little more room. :P

We were going to book the boat from Gothenburg to Fredrikshamn, but we decided that we should make sure we have a hotel booked, first, to know which dates we are definitely going. We might have to reschedule if we have trouble getting a hotel. July, of coure, is peak season, so everything is always super crowded and expensive. But we are excited. :) It is a nice, small place. We are going to stay 2 nights, and that is a perfect amount of time to see everything. And my parents get to visit another country. :) And not just anywhere. :) We are going to the spot where the Baltic Sea merges with the Atlantic Ocean. :) Very, very beautiful. :)

Here you can see pictures from when Fredrik and I went. We thought it was so lovely, that we had to take my parents. And this is an easy trip to take with Leia.

I think that Fredrik and I would like to take a trip in August, though, maybe for our anniversary. It will be our 5th. :) I'm thinking maybe somewhere in Germany. I'd like to go somewhere new. I have a lot of air miles, so we can get a round trip for both of us for free, we just have to use Delta's European partner airlines. Not like the trips within Europe are that expensive anyways, but might as well use the miles since I have them. I wanna use the miles before they expire. Hmm.. maybe we can go to Holland, as KLM is a partner with Delta. I'd really like to go there. :P

I made some fudge yesterday... absolutely delicious. With those ingredients you can only buy in the US. And I realized how I make it not so sweet, without having to add peanut butter, I add a little more evaporated milk, instead of 2/3 cup, I add almost a whole cup! Makes it not sooooo sweet and still chocolaty. :)

Leia is getting a little frustrated. Laying on her tummy right now. And I need to go get a shower. :P More later probably. :)
