Christening (Dop).
Forgot to mention that we have a date for the Christening!
It will be Easter Sunday, March 23rd. In conjunction with the church service that morning. In Nössemark.

4 months, potatoes, & snow.
It started snowing today and it hasn't stopped. It was really, really nice in the morning. It has been going full force for at least 3 hours now. Not so much fun! :)) We tried to go grocery shopping before it piled up too much.We bought some baby food at the store today. :) Food for 4 months of age. So, today Leia got her first taste of real food: potato. :)
She didn't spit any of it out, and she willingly took it in her mouth. She rolled it around in her mouth just a little and then she swallowed it. So, we think it went very well. We let her eat maybe.. half or three-fourths of a teaspoon. And tomorrow we will try again. :) Unfortunately potatoes don't have much flavor, but they didn't have anything at all that was flavorful in the veggies, like peas or carrots.
The groceries are put away. Fredrik is getting to spend some time with Leia and I am going to try to straighten up the house a little. :) And then I think Fredrik is going to fix us an early dinner. :)

Loves it!
Leia LOVES her new toy.
I put a pillow in there to.. stop her from reaching so far forward, and to help her stand up a little straighter.
She can move around in it.. She can barely reach with her toes, but she moves herself around. And she knows what to press to make the noises, and she knows how to move all the different levers, etc.. She'll put her hands on the wheel and turn it. I swear.. we have a.. 12 month old in a 4 month old body...
And she stopped talking awhile ago and has started mouthing things instead. We're just waiting for her first word.. :D

- Track & Field. And then I did every music group possible: Marching Band, Pep Band, and Jazz, too.

- Not in the conventional sense.

- Oh my goodness, no.

- English and any kind of math. I really liked Astronomy, too. Thought about doing Astronomy at University, but then I would have had to have studied Physics, too...... :/ :)))

Eye doctor and Leia's Gåstol.
Leia's first time in her walker. :)
She really likes it and we hope it will help her get rid of all her built up energy. Leia's BVC nurse said that you aren't supposed to over stimulate babies when they are very young of course, but she said we need to over stimulate Leia constantly because everything gets too old for her too quickly. So, we hope this new toy will keep her occupied for awhile. :)
The woman at the store loved Leia and thought Fredrik and I did something right. :)) She gave us a little off for the walker and then she had already put it together for us, too. :) And she gave us a good deal for a highchair (barnstol) when we want to buy one. So, we are thinking of doing that soon, too.
Leia is getting to bed a little late tonight, from us being out.
We started the evening with my eye appointment. I had an eye exam so that I can send in my paperwork to get my driver's license! Well, at least get the learner's permit. That way I can at least drive with Fredrik and help him out with driving on long trips. And then we can go for the next step and actually do all the tests. That is one of the reasons why buying new couches just isn't necessary, the money can go towards the expensive driving stuff instead.. :/ :)
My eyes are horrible.. :/ :) I don't need new glasses to get my license, but we are going to get a real appointment soon, so that I can get new glasses. Which is another expensive thing to pay for and why getting new couches isn't so important! :))
Caesar is afraid of Leia's new toy. It makes noise and when it does, he thinks it is the doorbell and he runs into the hallway and starts growling. (Yes, he growls.) When we lived in Nävekvarn and the doorbell rang there, he would jump up ontop of the refridgerator to hide!
That is enough for tonight! I've had a bad headache all day and I am super tired!

Longest month in history.
January took forever to finish. :/ We think because it was Leia's 4th month. We have been so anxious for her to reach this milestone. Now we can start tasting her on some different foods. And that is always lots of fun. :) See those first face reactions. :))
We can also now move her up to her next formula level.
She is.. going through a clingy phase with me. Some days I can't sit her down at all without her crying after me and reaching for me. And other days are a little better, where I can sit her down and as long as I stay out of her line of sight, then I can manage to shower and get a few things done. :) She stays fine unless we make eye contact. And then she screams like crazy.. :/ I thought she was a bit early to be going through separation anxiety, but she is.
And everyone always says that everything is easier after the first 4 months. So, we are only hoping that things will get better than they already are.
It doesn't matter how smiley Leia is, as soon as she sees the camera she gets an awe-struck look on her face and I can't get her to smile again.. :/ :)) She just stares at the camera, wanting to play with it and wondering what it is, and she won't smile..
There was a hurricane type storm yesterday that swept over Norway and Sweden, and probably some other places, too. We had bad wind all day yesterday, but around 17.00 yesterday, everything got really bad. Lots of bad wind and rain. And then we woke up with a little more snow than we already had.
Now it is time to get some things done. :P
