A clue that your baby has very, very stinky diapers....

Yes, Fredrik wears a mask when changing Leia's diapers. :D

Morning chat.

She got angry at the end because she wanted to move her chair, but it was stuck on the rug.. :/ An endless "problem." :)

March pictures.

Pictures from March.

Decision.

We decided to forgo any trip to Denmark, obviously.
And then we talked about going to Germany. But we decided to not go anywhere special. To just play it by ear when my parents are here, and take lots of little trips within Sweden. Maybe up to Mora, too. :) And some trips through Norway. :)

We are all content with the decision. :)
Especially with the dollar being so incredibly low, it is impractical to make a longer trip.

More entertainment for Mom & Dad.

Ideas.

Okay..
So we were trying to plan a trip to Denmark with my parents for July.
When Fredrik and I went a couple of years ago, we had no troubles getting a room for a decent price. I don't know if inflation has hit hotel pricings in Denmark or what, but I don't think we are going to be able to go there this summer.

For one, the hotel personel have been incredibly rude, besides being incredibly difficult to get in contact with.
And I must say, if you plan a trip to Skagen, whatever you do AVOID Hotel Strandly.
We could never get ahold of them, and when I did, the same woman kept trying to talk to me in Danish. And I told her that only English and Swedish were an option. And then she hung the phone up on me. EVERY time. So we decided very easily that we will never stay there.

And we finally got ahold of a hotel, and for 2 double rooms for 2 nights, they want 6000 sek (1000$+). Which is extremely ridiculous.

So we are trying to figure out something else to do or somewhere else to go. I refuse to pay that much money just for a hotel in Denmark.
We thought about just renting a house up North and taking a road trip. But that would be a long drive for being so cramped with 4 adults and a baby in a car.

We are trying to think of somewhere to go for a few days. Somewhere that is baby friendly, at least.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Tipping over.

Forgot to mention yesterday:

Leia was sitting on her butt, and she was about to tip over, but she put her hand against the floor and stopped herself from tipping over!!

Similarities.

Okay, so there are some similarities with Leia and Caesar... So much so that it is scary.

01. Intelligence level is just about the same.
02. They both enjoy toys on strings.
03. They both have pooping troubles.
04. They both enjoy playing with crumpled pieces of paper.
05. They both love milk and food.
06. They both move on all 4's.
07. They both get into places they shouldn't.
08. They both try to eat plants. (I had to move the ficus into another room.)
09. They both wake us up at times we don't want them to (although Leia sleeps through the night now, but Caesar wakes us up to go outside).
10. They both like watching TV.
11. They both like watching shadows.
12. They both like shiny objects.
13. They both like being outside and going on walks.
14. They are both in awe and confused about other animals.

And I am sure there are plenty more...

The ease of amusing yourself when you're a parent.

You are the one, Neo.

Okay, so we are wondering if we have a Super-Baby or what..
If she is "The One."

She is putting her knees up under herself, grabbing onto objects and pulling herself up off the floor........ Not such an amazing feat for a baby, but for a 5½ month old baby, it is.. :P
Mormor and Morfar are a bit worried that Leia will already be walking by the time they get to see her again.. :D

The tests went extremely well. And not only that, but I thoroughly impressed my teacher.. :P
On the general computer knowledge, I got 91%. I only missed 3 questions.
And then the test about Outlook and Explorer, I got 88%, I missed 4 questions.

While we were waiting for my test scores to print out, she asked how old Leia is now. And then she asked how many classes I was taking and what I was taking. And she asked me how I was doing it and thought that I was super-awesome. :)) So, that made me feel good. :) For someone to recognize that it is difficult taking care of a baby, much less going to school full-time as well.

And I finally ordered this for Leia:

I really wanted her to have it. :) I'll put it on her stroller, and then she can have it when she gets older. Something nice for her to have I think. It showed up in the mail today.

And Leia also received an adorable Bamse shirt from Farmor:

I realized before leaving to take my tests that ... I've not even been studying for 2 months... it feels like it has been 3-4 months.. And to be more than ½ way done with 2 of 3 of my classes, isn't so bad to only be studying 7 weeks.. :P

So I decided to take the rest of the evening off. :) No school work tonight. :) I think I deserve it. :) I made some brownies while fixing an early dinner. Not sure what other "exciting" things I have planned for tonight.. ;) :D But I am looking forward to just relaxing, and maybe even just straightening up and cleaning.

I am desperate to Spring clean. I started last week with the kitchen, but I didn't get very far. I cleaned out a drawer and just put Leia's things in it, milk, bottles, food that hasn't been opened, etc..
I really wanna reorganize everything, as we haven't done that since we moved in. And hopefully try to throw away things in the process.
