A little vacation.

Not the best picture; I took it yesterday. At least I have a good tan.. :P I know that Mormor + Morfar wanted one, and Aunt Beverly will probably enjoy it, too. :)

We've been trying to pack this morning, Leia fought with sleeping but she finally gave in when Mommy rocked her some in her room. :) We'll finish getting everything packed and then wake her up.. :/ :D And start on our way. We don't want to wait until she wakes up because that could be 3-4 hours ... and she'll sleep some in the car, too probably. :)








We remembered yesterday that we have to take the cat. :D He'll sit in the front seat with Pappa. And with Caesar gone, we finally get to use our alarm system. :) (We still need to have the company come and install a new camera that works with pets.) They were supposed to come on their own and do that this past Fall, and Pappa still hasn't called and complained.

We'll be without the Internet, so you'll hear from us on Monday - unless we talk to you on the phone. :))

Leia and Pappa.

For our parent group night, we had homework: to bring a picture of interaction. Best if with our own child, but it didn't really matter. So I took some pictures of Fredrik and Leia. :) And then we printed one out to take that night.







We're going to the summer house tomorrow. It rained last night, so we hope the rain will stay away this weekend so we can get some mowing done there. And we hope to cut down some more rhubarb.


The lake at the end of our street. Leia isn't so fond of grass right now. So when she gets a little more into it, I hope to take some short, small picnics there by the water. And then of course all we have to do is get a boat..... :))

5 kg.

I cut 5 kg (11 lbs) of rhubarb. :/ :)))

Now they are weighed, washed, cut and ready for the freezer:

Leia and I went on a walk, and on the way home we stopped behind our garage and I cut some rhubarb. :) A lot of rhubarb. :) I'm anxious for the rest of it to keep growing so that I can freeze that too. :))

3 hours.

She slept 3 hours this morning and she has been SO happy after she woke up. :) Nice to have a happier baby. :) Nice to have her a little more back to normal. :)

Teeth.

We hope that it is her teeth. :/ :)
Her gums are very, very swollen this morning and the last 3 days she's been warm to touch, and a slight, slight raised temperature. We can hope, but you never know.. :/

She was moody with Pappa yesterday evening, too ... so that made me feel better.. :/ :))

She is being very independent, too. She doesn't want help doing anything. She's 7 months old. She shouldn't even realize that we are trying to help her.. :/ :))

She'll try to stand, and push your hand away if you try to make sure she doesn't fall.

She can now go to a standing position while sitting on her butt.
And while in her crib, she will take a few steps along the edge of her crib.
When standing and holding onto the couch, she will start to scream when she can't pull herself up onto the couch. She's 7 months old, her chest barely reaches the top of the couch and she's angry that she can't get up ontop.........

Right now the only thing that keeps her very happy is being in her walker (gåstol) and watching South Park. And not just any South Park DVD. It has to be the 2nd CD of Season 10.....
So that is where we let her stay... :D

Frustrated.

I am completely frustrated with Leia.

She was fine and happy, and I picked her up to sit in my lap and play with me and she started crying and screaming.

?!?!

And I sat her on the floor and she was fine.

Does my child hate me.. ?!?!
